Lesson 2. Working with Graphics

Lesson 2. Working with Graphics

Although the Web is still primarily a text-based medium, graphics are key to capturing the attention of your audience and communicating your message effectively. In this lesson, you will create a Web page that incorporates graphics, text, and Flash. In the process, you will learn about different graphic file formats and how to control their appearances in an HTML document.

In this lesson, you'll create a page like this one while you learn to incorporate graphics with text on your Web pages.

Dreamweaver simplifies graphics management by allowing you to modify image properties quickly and by providing a quick way to change an image in an external image editor. One of the most powerful graphics features in Dreamweaver allows you to create catalogs of all the images used in your site or of images that you need to have accessible.

If you would like to view the final result of this lesson, open travel_log.html in the Completed folder within the Lesson_02_Graphics folder.
