Lesson 12. Using Find and Replace > Removing an HTML Tag

Removing an HTML Tag

In this same file, the text “Compass Adventure Travel” is a purple color that has been applied using local formatting. Local formatting is applied using the property inspector to define the text attributes as opposed to using CSS. In this exercise, you will use Find and Replace to remove the HTML font tag that applies the color.

In a later exercise, you will use Find and Replace to apply a custom CSS style to the text, but first you need to remove the local formatting. Remember that in CSS styles, local formatting overrides any internal or external styles, so you will want to remove the local formatting.
