    Customizing the Site Window

    The information displayed in the Site window might not provide all the information you want. Dreamweaver offers you the option of customizing the Site window to your liking. You can reorder existing information, show or hide columns, or even add your own columns.

    1.
    In the Site window, choose View > File View Columns (Windows) or Site > Site Files View > File View Columns (Macintosh).

    The Site Definition dialog box opens, displaying the File View Columns list.

    Select Size in the File View Columns list and click the down-arrow button in the top-right corner of the dialog box.

    Size moves down in the list.

    Select Modified in the list and uncheck the Options Show checkbox.

    Hide appears in the Show column.

    Click the plus-sign (+) button above the Name column. In the Column Name text box, type Priority and click OK.

    A new column called Priority is added to the bottom of the list; the columns of the Site window change to reflect your choices. Notice that the modification date no longer appears.

    TIP

    You can use the scroll bar at the bottom of the pane to see all the columns.

    You can close the site window.
