Lesson 15. Extending Dreamweaver > What You Have Learned

What You Have Learned

In this lesson, you have:

  • Used browser profiles to test individual pages, folders, or an entire site for browser compatibility and find out if there are any errors or unsupported tags (pages 330–332)

  • Tested the links in your pages to quickly find any broken links within your site (pages 332–333)

  • Created site reports to find common problems in your site such as redundant nested tags and untitled documents (pages 334–335)

  • Used the Reference panel to modify the HTML code and create a visual effect with the background image in the browser (pages 335–337)

  • Added extensions to expand Dreamweaver's capabilities using the Macromedia Extension Manager and learned where to find more extensions (pages 338–341)

  • Used new extensions to change lowercase text to uppercase, create a calender, and get rid of link outlines in the browser (pages 341–345)

  • Created your own object and placed it into a new category in the Objects panel (pages 345–348)
