Lesson 14. Animating with Timelines > Adding Behaviors to the Timeline

Adding Behaviors to the Timeline

Adding a behavior to the timeline is similar to adding a behavior to any other object, except that you attach the behavior to a single frame in the timeline and not to the entire animation bar. The behavior is added to the Behaviors channel and appears as a dash.

In the previous exercise, the two layers that appeared when the arrowL layer moved near them were added to the timeline. In this exercise, you will make the raftingL layer stay hidden and appear when the arrowL layer moves near it without adding the raftingL layer to timeline. You will use a behavior to display the layer.
