Lesson 5. Creating Links > Setting preferences for link warnings

Setting preferences for link warnings

Adobe GoLive signals broken links on pages within your site with link warnings. You can control the appearance of link warnings, including their text and background color and box size. The default color for broken links is red.

1.
Choose Edit > Preferences.

2.
On the left side of the Preferences dialog box, click the symbol next to the General option to display more options. Click the User Interface option.

3.
To select a different color for link warnings, click the Link Warning color field. The system color picker appears.

4.
Select a color, and then click OK.

5.
To set the size of the color box that marks link warnings in the text or around images, choose an option from the Frame Border pop-up menu. Click OK.

6.
Choose File > Save to save the file, and close the Repairs.html file.
