Why use more than one movie?

In the previous chapters, we treated the Director movie as an entity unto itself. We explored interactivity and nonlinear navigation, but only in the context of leaping from one section of a movie to another. It's theoretically possible to get just about everything done within the confines of a single movie, but there are times when it's a better idea to jump out of one movie and into another—or to have several movies running at once. It's a relatively straightforward way of producing some surprisingly sophisticated results.

When are multiple movies called for? Give them a try when the following considerations are important to you:
