Introducing markers

We've already made three trips to frame 25. It's an easy enough number to locate on the frame counter, but as your movies become more complex, you'll find it hard to keep track of exactly what happens where. That's one reason why Director provides you with an unlimited supply of markers, good for both annotating and navigating within your Score (once you start using Lingo, you won't be able to live without markers).

Inserting markers

The marking system works much like the tab system in a word process ing program: There's an area in which you can create as many markers as necessary. Unlike with tabs, however, you can also assign a label to each marker. Let's go to the area and designate markers for two key points in our movie.
