Chapter 3. Making It Multimedia > Creating a film loop

Creating a film loop

We now have a sprite segment that's 10 frames long, and it's created with just a single Cast member. That sure helps keep down the size of your movie, and you can see how this technique can be used to create Web-friendly files that download quickly. But we're not done with squeezing the most animation out of a few kilobytes of file size.

The action within this segment's animation is interesting, but what if we want to extend it through more frames? Here's an experiment: Try tugging on the right keyframe to extend the segment for another 20 frames or so. Now play the movie (make sure looping is turned on in the Control Panel).
