Playing digital video

Unlike sounds, which have their own sound channels (plus the virtual sound channels), digital video sprites reside in the numbered sprite channels of the Score. You can add a digital video sprite to the Score in the same manner that you add any other type of Cast member to the Score: Drag the Cast member to the Score channel or drag it to the Stage. When the playback head reaches a frame with a digital video, the video will begin playing (assuming Paused wasn't selected as one of the digital video's properties). The video will continue playing as long as the playback head is within a frame that contains the sprite. As with sounds, you can extend the sprite in the Score to cover as many frames as are needed to display the entire video, or you can take greater control by using the tempo channel, cue points, and Lingo.
