Link Warnings

GoLive can alert you to broken links using a variety of link warnings. You can turn link warnings on and off to determine the status of your links. By default, problem links are highlighted in red. You can change the color in the Preferences window's General: User Interface Preferences, if you like.

To change the color of link warnings:

1.
Choose Edit > Preferences.

Click the triangle (Mac) or plus sign (Windows) next to the General label in the left side of the Preferences window to view more options.

Click the User Interface item. The resulting screen (Figure 6.19) includes a color box for changing the color of link warnings.

Click the color box. A color picker appears. Figure 6.20 shows the Apple (Mac) color picker. Figure 6.21 shows the choices available under Windows.

Choose a color from one of the panels. If you need help with the color picker, see your system's Help feature.

Click OK. The new color appears in the Link Warnings color box.

Click OK again, to close the Preferences window.
