Chapter 9. Working with Frames > Adding Content to Frames

Adding Content to Frames

With your framework in place (pun intended), it's time to dress up those window panes with some content. Although frames can simply provide windows to individual Web pages, they are much more powerful when used as a navigation aid for your entire site. The example frame structure I'm using in this chapter does that. The contents frame offers a list of available pages within the site, and the larger frame (I'll call it the body frame) displays the page your site visitors clicked from the table of contents.

Like the frame document itself, the body frame is a container for information. The contents of the body frame change depend on the hyperlink a user selects.
