Troubleshooting Sites

Earlier in this chapter, I explained how to update your site by changing file names and how to keep it organized by examining your site with the Navigation and Links views. Changing things, though, can introduce errors. GoLive includes several tools for finding and fixing errors.

To identify errors in the Site window:

1.
Open a site to the Site window. If you don't see the Site window, choose Site > View > Files.

In the Site window, click the Status header (Figure 15.67) to sort files and folders by their status within the site. GoLive sorts files with no errors at the top of the list.

3.
To bring broken files to the top of the window, click the Ascending/Descending arrow, located at the upper-right corner of the Site window.
