The Links View

When you're ready to move from a high-level, file-centric view of your site to a link-centric one, you'll also move from the Navigation view to the Links view to do your work. The Links view presents your site in terms of the actual hyperlinks that exist between pages. This may or may not correspond to the file hier-archy you have built. In fact, the Links view is a great way to verify, for example, that all of the pages in your site's root directory have links back to the home page. If a page in the directory isn't linked to another page, you won't see it in the Links view when you expand it out from the home page.

To view a page in the Links view:

1.
Open a GoLive site.

2.
Choose Site > View > Links.

or

Click the right-pointing arrow in the upper-right corner of the Site window (called the Pane menu) and choose Links (Figure 15.39). The Links view window appears (Figure 15.40). Notice that the window also contains a tab for the Navigation view.
