The Document Window

The Document window is where you build and view HTML pages you create in GoLive. It's visible by default when you launch GoLive. The six tabs in the Document window each provide a different view of your page, allowing you to build the page visually, using HTML code, and to see an approximation of how the page will look in a Web browser. For final page proofing, you should always use a Web browser—preferably several different ones.

Editors allow you to look at and work with the same Web page in six different ways. Use the tabs at the top of the Document window (Figure 1.3) to switch among the six editors for the current document.
