Positioning Text with Style Sheets

Yet another approach to precise placement is the use of Cascading Style Sheets to position text. Blocks of text act like floating boxes, controlled by the Position tab in GoLive's CSS Selector Inspector. Though a full discussion of positioning properties of CSS is beyond the scope of this book, here is a look at GoLive options for positioning elements with CSS.

The options in the Position tab of GoLive's CSS Selector Inspector define a block of text formatted with a style (see Chapter 11, "Working with Style Sheets" ) to control its position, clipping behavior, position in the order of the stack, what to do if it overflows, and visibility.
