Lesson 20. Synchronizing with Digital Video

Lesson 20. Synchronizing with Digital Video

One of the most striking types of media you can use in a Director movie is a digital video clip. Director lets you combine digital video with text, animation, and other effects to create exciting multimedia movies, and special Lingo functions let you synchronize the media to make sure everything works together smoothly. In this lesson, you'll be creating a multimedia advertisement for a Star Trek ® movie.

Figure . This multimedia advertisement synchronizes animated text created in Director with different sections of a QuickTime digital video. Using Lingo, you can make sure that animations and digital video work together to produce a single, striking movie.

You'll use both cue points and the movie time to synchronize animations and digital video to produce a striking presentation.
