Lesson 23. Keyboard Control

Lesson 23. Keyboard Control

So far, you have developed projects that let users control the actions of a movie based on mouse movements or mouse clicks on the stage. In this lesson, you will give users a way to control actions using the keyboard. Keyboard control is useful in a wide variety of projects. For example, in some games it may be faster and easier to control events using the keyboard rather than a mouse. Keyboard control can even be essential in projects such as kiosk applications, where a mouse is not available.

Figure . This "Markysketch" is an electronic version of a sketch toy. You draw lines using the keyboard's arrow keys to move the drawing dot up, down, right, and left. You will use Lingo to make the arrow keys draw on the screen.
