Lesson 2. Animated Bullet Lists > Positioning Sprites on the Stage

Positioning Sprites on the Stage

In this presentation, the bullets and lines of text fit neatly into the lower-right quadrant of the stage. The following instructions tell you how to place the sprites for the bullet list in this area, but when you create your own bullet list presentations, you'll determine the best positions for the sprites you create. A bullet list with longer lines of text, for example, would need to be positioned further to the left or in the center of the stage so all the text can be seen.

Now you will drag the bullets and text on the stage to their proper positions. You know by now that all the sprites in channels 5 through 10 are stacked in the center of the stage. You also know that the sprite you see on the stage is the sprite highlighted in channel 10, the third line of text for the bullet list and the last item you placed in the score. Before you move this sprite, you will hide the effects channels to make the score even easier to work with.
