Lesson 2. Animated Bullet Lists > Animating Text Using Keyframes

Animating Text Using Keyframes

At this point, you have assembled all the media elements for the presentation and placed them in the score. What you see on the stage is the way the movie will look in the last frame when all the lines of text have moved onto the stage. You now need to sequence the sprites in the score to create an animated bullet list.

In an animated bullet list, the first bullet and line of text are usually the first objects you see. Then the second bullet and line of text come into view, followed by the third bullet point. To set up these appearances, each bullet and text sprite pair needs to be sequenced in the score so they all appear in the right order. Once they are in the proper frames, you can animate the text sprites so they move onto the screen from right to left.
