Custom Color Palettes

If you want to create a custom color palette, you start by creating a duplicate of one of Director's standard palettes (which cannot be modified). Then you can change any color in the duplicate palette or even replace all the colors.

To duplicate a color palette:

1.
Choose Window > Color Palettes.

2.
In the window that opens, choose a color palette from the Palette pop-up menu (Figure 9.30).

Choose Edit > Duplicate.

4.
In the dialog box that opens (Figure 9.31), type a name for the duplicate palette.

Click OK.

Director stores the palette in the active Cast window (Figure 9.32).
