Editing Vector Shapes

After you create a vector shape, you can modify it by moving and changing the corner points and curve points. Adding points also provides an opportunity to change the shape. Removing points changes the shape instantly. These editing techniques apply equally to a vector-shape cast member that consists of multiple shapes.

To move a point in a vector shape:

1.
In a Cast window, double-click a vector shape (Figure 7.26).

Click the Selection tool in the Vector Shape window (Figure 7.27).

Drag a point to a new location (Figure 7.28).

4.
Release the mouse button.

The lines connecting to the point adjust dynamically when you release the point.
