if they can do it...

Still not convinced you can do it? Have a look at some examples of what other people have done. Following are the home pages of five Web sites made by ordinary people, none of them professional Web designers, using Trellix Web. You should be able to get a sense of the variety of styles, interests, and purposes that Trellix Web can encompass.

getting your pictures on the screen

If there's one thing that makes creating a Web site a lot more fun for you and for your visitors, it's a scanner. A scanner enables you to put your photographs online. Whether you make a business, family, organization, wedding, or fan Web site, pictures make a world of difference. You can find a scanner today for as little as $100 that will serve your needs nicely.

Or you can buy a digital camera, which also sell for $100 and up. Most digital cameras today come with software that lets you download your pictures easily from your camera to your computer, eliminating the need for a scanner.

There is a third way to get your pictures on your Web site. When you have pictures developed, check out the option that offers to put your pictures on a CD-ROM. Most film developers today have this capability. It costs extra, of course, but if you get in the habit of having your developer put your pictures on CD-ROM, you may not need a scanner or a digital camera.
