Chapter 12. the map

Chapter 12. the map

You have been using the Trellix Web map throughout this book. The map provides an easy way to keep track of the pages on your site. It also offers a convenient place to perform some of the most common Trellix Web tasks, such as adding and deleting pages, linking to pages, and putting pages on a sequence so that their navigation links become active. You can temporarily hide the map by clicking the Map button in order to maximize the size of the page area. And you don't have to be selfish with the map's navigational usefulness: you can publish the map with your site as a convenient guide for your visitors.

But the map doesn't have to be merely the bar across the top of your screen filled with tiny icons. This chapter aims to show you how to change the display of the map to suit your needs and tastes. It also introduces you to two map-related tools: the outline and the OverAll map.
