Chapter 5. publishing your site

Chapter 5. publishing your site

When you think your site is ready, it's time to preview it in a Web browser. Then, if you're happy with it, publish it to the Web with One-Step Publish. To publish your site, you first have to sign up with a Web hosting company (also called a hosting provider), which will provide your site with a place to live on the Web. Remember that the Web hosting company is probably not the same as your Internet Service Provider (ISP), although some ISPs do offer Web hosting services—check with yours. You need your ISP to connect your machine to the Internet through a modem or network.

As I mentioned earlier in the book, just because you publish your site doesn't mean the whole Web will suddenly show up to see what you've done. Publishing your site is an ongoing process, and you should continually improve and update it. To update your site, just make your changes in Trellix Web and publish again. The beauty of Trellix Web is that you don't need to know HTML or FTP to publish your Web site. With Trellix Web's One-Step Publish, it couldn't be easier.
