images

Images are what make the Web come alive. They are what separates the Web from the texty look of the rest of the Internet. You've already learned how to insert an image in Trellix Web. Many times, the first thing you want to do is change the size of your image.

resizing an image

Take a look at the image in the Irish Tin Whistles file. Click it once, and it is surrounded by a frame with little squares at the corners and in the middle of the sides. Those are called control handles, and if you move your mouse pointer over one of them, the pointer changes to a two-headed arrow. If you click and drag with that arrow, you'll find that you can resize the image. This is very handy. It means that for at least one of the most common image-editing tasks— changing the size of an image so it fits in the space available—you don't need to use a separate image-editing program (see figure 3-9).
