Using Server-Side Includes to Insert Files in Your Pages This section tells you about a clever little technology called server-side includes that enables you to include certain kinds of content automatically in your pages. As you'll see, this can save you a lot of time, particularly if you include similar content on all or most of your pages. The Include Tag One of the hallmarks of a good site is a consistent layout among your pages. I talk about this in more detail in the next chapter, but part of what this means is having certain elements appear on all or most of your pages.
