Fooling Around with Frames 148 Dividing the Screen Vertically If you'd prefer that the frame divider run vertically to cut the screen into left and right sections, you populate the <FRAMESET> tag with the COLS (columns) attribute and some numbers: <FRAMESET COLS="Size1,Size2,..."> Again, Size1 and Size2 tell the browser how much of the window to parcel out to each frame. Here's another HTML file (frame2.htm on this book's CD) that divides the browser screen into three sections that take up 20 percent, 60 percent, and 20 percent of the screen.
