Although you can’t play videogames on the Web (only PC games), you can find a ton of information about videogames online. There are a number of high-profile sites that specialize in providing news, information, instructions, hints, and cheats for the most popular videogame systems. Among the best of these sites are

  • All Game Guide (www.allgame.com). Previews and reviews of all the hot games.

  • Console Domain (www.consoledomain.com). News, reviews, previews, and cheats—plus online forums to interact with other gamers.

  • GamerZone (www.gamerzone.com). Plenty of cheats and hints for Nintendo, PlayStation, and all the other big game platforms.

  • Games Domain (www.gamesdomain.com). Heavy on game industry news and reviews, along with game mods (modifications) and maps.

  • GameSpot (www.gamespot.com). Offering news, reviews, and tips for games on all popular platforms, including PC games, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, Game Boy, GameCube, and Game Boy Advance.

  • GameSpy (www.gamespy.com). News, reviews, and cheats for all the major videogame consoles.

  • Happypuppy.com (www.happypuppy.com). News, reviews, and tips for all the major platforms, including Microsoft’s new Xbox games (shown in Figure 31.4) .
