Part: III TAKING CONTROL > TAKING AN INVENTORY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Chapter 9. TAKING AN INVENTORY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Before you can make good choices about what information you might want to disclose, you need to know what of your information is available.

In Chapter 5, we discussed how you can disclose information about yourself inadvertently. When that information is combined with other information, it can be very revealing. This chapter is concerned with the information about you that may exist in relatively public places so you can see what others might be able to find out about you without too much effort or expense.
