Supporting Presentations with Slideshows

Whether it’s corporate executives speaking to the company, vendors making a pitch, staffers briefing management, or professional speakers keynoting a conference, business professionals have come to expect presentations to be supported with PowerPoint slideshows. Although sometimes that expectation is a positive one, often it is not because many speakers do not do themselves a favor when they create their slideshows.

Fortunately, it’s fairly easy to make a good supporting slideshow. The first step is to think about the relation between the spoken word and the projected image.
