Hour 6. Revisiting Places You Like > Recalling Addresses You've Typed

Recalling Addresses You've Typed

Your history file keeps every page you've visited, no matter how you go there. But in addition to the history file, browsers keep a separate list of every address you've typed in the address box. This list makes retrieving and reusing an address you've typed much easier.

In either Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer, you can take advantage of this list in either of two ways: the drop-down list or AutoComplete.
