Q&A

Q1:If I choose WebTV instead of a computer, which online service or ISP should I use?
A1: When WebTV (see Hour 2) debuted, buyers were required to use the WebTV Network as their ISP. Today, WebTV terminals can support a variety of ISPs (but not all), with one catch.

One of the main benefits of WebTV is the way it offers program directories and other services that enhance TV viewing. You can get these services only as a WebTV Network subscriber. If you use another ISP, you can still access WebTV Network services through your ISP, by paying WebTV Network a $9.95 per month fee in addition to what you already pay the ISP.
