A.3. iDisk Utility

The keyboard shortcuts listed in Table A-3 can be used with the Mac OS X version of the iDisk Utility (/Applications/Utilities).

Table A-3. The iDisk Utility's keyboard shortcuts
Menu Item Keyboard shortcut Description
iDiskUtility About iDisk Utility None Provides basic information about the version and build number of the iDisk Utility installed on your Mac.
  Services None Provides access to the Services submenu.
  Hide iDisk Utility -H Hides the iDisk Utility window.
  Hide Others None Hides the open windows for other applications that are running.
  Show All None Brings any hidden windows back into view.
  Quit iDisk Utility -Q Quits the iDisk Utility.
View Open Public Folder -1 Changes the window's view so you can open another .Mac member's iDisk Public folder.
  Open iDisk -2 Changes the window's view so you can open an iDisk.
  Public Folder Access -3 Changes the window's view so you can check or change the settings for your iDisk's Public folder.
  iDisk Storage -4 Changes the window's view so you can see how much space is used on your iDisk; can also be used for purchasing additional storage space for your iDisk.
Window Minimize -M Minimizes the window to the Dock.
  Bring All to Front None This is a useless menu option, since you can only have one iDisk Utility window open at a time.
  Hide Toolbar None Hides the toolbar at the top of the window.
  Customize Toolbar None Opens a sheet, from which you can customize the toolbar.
Help iDisk Utility Help -?[2] Launches the Help Viewer, which gives you information on how to use the iDisk Utility.


[2] The keyboard shortcut for opening the iDisk Utility's Help file ( -?) does not work. Instead, if you need Help, you will need to use the menu bar.
