Chapter 24. The Business Web Site

After careful analysis of your business, you know it's time to create a Web presence. Unlike a personal Web site, this will be the portal for customers to find you on the Internet. It will provide information, services, and avenues to contact you. It will allow potential customers to find you, compare you with your competitors, and beat a path to your door.

A Web presence is a business Web site. It is often a collection of Web pages that are linked to a home page. Most individuals have a Web page that is a single Web address.
