Creating a Mixed-Mode CD

Click DataCD Project in Project Selector and open a data CD project.

Click File, New CD Project, and select Mixed-Mode CD.

Click the destination folder in the bottom panel.

From a disc drive or folder in the upper panel, select your files and folders and click Add to add them to the data folder of the mixed-mode compilation.

INTRODUCTION

A mixed-mode CD is a special kind of data CD that is often used in encyclopedias or other entertainment or educational programs that combine music and data.


HINT

The upper panel of a mixed-mode project again reveals the familiar Windows file structure, starting with the main C: drive. The lower panel has folders for data over the audio CD portion on the bottom.


Click the drop-down arrow under Select Source Files to select your audio CD.

Select the tracks you want, and click Add to add them to the audio CD folder of your mixed-mode compilation.

Click the Record button.

Set your options and click the Start Recording button.
