Part 2. How to Use Nero 5 > How to Create a Disc Label or Cover

How to Create a Disc Label or Cover

Open Nero Cover Designer and click on the Standard CD label.

Click Audio, Data, or Audio+Data to see the template choices.

Click OK.

Click the Disc tab to start with the actual disc label. Then right-click a text placeholder and select Data to begin to change the text.

INTRODUCTION

After you've burned your masterpiece, you might want to cap it off with a nice label for the disc, or perhaps an insert for the case. Many templates or styles of labels and inserts are available, and Nero Cover Designer lets you work with almost all of them.

The text window will come up for the label text. Enter the text for the field that you want to change.

Click OK.

Double-click the label itself to bring up the Background Properties window. Then, click File to load an image file and browse to one you like.

Click Open after you've selected your file.

HINT

If you are using several elements (CD label, inserts, and so on), click Print Preview under File on the main menu to see how they will look.

Under the File menu, click Paper Stocks to bring out a list of popular layouts for labels you intend to print.

Choose the right one for your project.

Click OK, and then print your label.
