Part 5. Editing with DVD MovieFactory 2.0 > Reviewing Our Project Settings

Reviewing Our Project Settings

In the Add/Edit Video window click the check mark box to open the Project Settings.

Click the drop-down arrow and choose Back to Menu to select a different project option for title playback.

Review the other settings. (Leave the defaults.)

INTRODUCTION

Now we're almost ready to make our menus, but we need to review some other items and decide what our titles will do when they finish. (We can either have them return to a menu, which we will create, or continue on to the next title on the Video Strip.)

TIP

You can still use just a main menu and let the titles run into one another by leaving the default project settings.

HINT

Letting the titles continue one after the other is a good idea if you have one long, cohesive storyboard on the Video Strip (like a “real” movie).

Do not check Auto Repeat unless you want all videos to keep playing over and over. (Users may proceed to the next video by clicking the Next button on the remote control.)

There is no reason to convert MPEG files that are already fine; check the Do not Convert Compliant MPEG Files box.

Click OK to return to the Add/Edit Video window.
