Beginning a Promotional DVD

Open a new DVD project. Then click Next.

To capture the video footage using FireWire, click Capture.

Click Play to play the source video.

Click Capture Video to begin the capture.

INTRODUCTION

Now that we've worked with DVD, we can put together a business presentation with MovieFactory 2.0. This is an interactive promotional video project for a medical professional who does public speaking and needs to present images of blood types to his audience.

TIP

For a business DVD, dubbing to DV/FireWire is a great option to get the best possible quality. The first segment should be a nicely scripted introduction that tells the audience what the video is about.

Drag and drop to assemble and organize your video clips.

Click Add Slideshow to use a slideshow for still images.

Select your images and click Add Image to add them to your show.

Set duration for the image slides and drag and drop to rearrange them.

To add music to the slideshow, click Background Music.

Select a music file and click Open.

Save the project in an appropriate folder.
