Discovering Your Digital Movie Style

Everyone has his or her own style; what’s yours? When you shoot and edit your own movies, you should leave yourself room to play and experiment. Don’t be afraid to try new things. Try putting yourself on camera, try a new angle—and watch what you’ve shot. Nothing will help you develop your shooting skills more than evaluating what you have shot and how you might shoot it differently next time.

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes—after all, you can delete it all! And you can even reuse your tape.
