Chapter 6. Project 2: Making Travel and ... > Getting Ready for Your Shoot

Getting Ready for Your Shoot

Your movie begins with the right preparation. Preparation includes both technical and creative aspects of your shoot:

  • On the technical front, you need to review the essential equipment to bring to your shoot, as well as think about bringing extra, helpful items.

  • On the creative front, you need to think about what shots you would ideally like to have in your finished movie. This chapter reviews what shots are most important to get and lists other shots that are “nice-to-haves.”
