When you select this effect, your text begins as a dot in the center of the screen, grow- ing larger as it approaches, eventually becoming large, bold type (if the typed phrase is short). It holds for a moment, then fades out gracefully. This effect is dramatic and punchy. Use it to get attention when the name of your movie fnally appears onscreen, and to differentiate it from the opening credits that may have preceded it. Use the Zoom Multiple variation for opening credits, especially those accompanied by rock music and exciting footage shot through the windshield of a fast-moving car. (If you know what's good for you, don't use either Zoom effect to introduce soft, sweet, or nostalgic ficks.) The iMovie Titles Catalog chapter7:titles,captions,andcredits 213
