Part: II Beyond the Basics > Using Motion Menus

Chapter 9. Using Motion Menus

In this chapter, you'll learn how to incorporate moving video in your menus. You can put video on your backgrounds, on your buttons, or on both at once. You can also incorporate an audio track to add narration, music, or other sound elements to your menus. The elements you use can be short video bits, brief sound bites, or more complex edited or animated scenes. In the previous chapters, you saw how you can use Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro to create interesting content, and how to get that content into Encore DVD. This chapter will focus on what you can do inside Encore DVD to take that material and use it to create motion menus.
