Anatomy of the Audio Mixer

The Audio Mixer's interface (Figure 12.54) is a virtual representation of an automated mixing board (or blending desk, as the Brits say). The mixer is designed to offer you a lot of display flexibility. The mixer window is organized into four areas. You can hide or show panes, and set up customized views that display just the track strips of audio tracks you want to focus on.
