You need to modify some additional system preferences in order to fully optimize your system design and workflow. In this section, you’ll learn about adjustments that are geared towards configuring Mac OS X to work with specific hardware, including dual displays and digital receivers. You’ll also modify features that affect your working methods, such as the Dock, Exposé, Dashboard, and Spotlight.

Though we don’t address them in this lesson, you should be aware that some applications, including Adobe Version Cue, Telestream Flip4Mac, and Apple Qmaster install additional preferences, which are listed under the Other category in the System Preferences window.
