Capturing Video clips with Scene Detect

Some professional video programs require you to manually mark the area of your video that you would like to capture. Premiere Elements uses a feature called Scene Detect to capture a separate clip every time it detects a scene break in your original video. When you record digital video, your camera automatically lays down a time/date stamp. Every time you press Stop or Record you create a new time/date stamp, which Premiere Elements marks as a new scene.
