Viewing the completed movie before you start

This project has been set up as if it had been imported from a digital video camera. Premiere Elements captures individual scenes from your video and places them into your Media window and Timeline in the order they were shot. You can also import other video, audio and still image files into your project. For example, you will now import the Lesson02_Tour.wmv, which is the final output from the Tour project. You can view this file for reference and use it as a guide.

1.
Click the Add Media button () at the top of your task bar.

2.
Navigate to the Lessons folder that you copied from the DVD to your hard disk. Locate the folder named Movies and click the Open button.

3.
In the Movies folder, you'll find the file Lesson02_Tour.wmv. Select it and the click the Open button. Lesson02_Tour.wmv appears in the Premiere Elements Media window.

4.
In the Media window, click to select Lesson02_Tour.wmv and then double-click it to open the video into the Premiere Elements Monitor window.

5.
Press the Play button () to preview the 90 second video you'll be building in this lesson.
