Chapter 8. Refining the Sequence > Finding Source Clips

Finding Source Clips

As you edit in the timeline, you may want to reexamine the source of a clip in a sequence. The source clip may contain another take of the shot or other footage you want to use, for example. But as you know, trimming the clip in the timeline would disturb your current edit, and double-clicking the clip in question would allow you to view only the clip instance in the source view, not the source clip. Fortunately, you can view the source clip associated with a sequence clip quickly and easily, without having to search through your project.
