Chapter 1. Premiere Pro Basics > Using Tabbed Windows

Using Tabbed Windows

Premiere Pro helps you optimize your workspace and workflow by letting you view certain palettes separately or as tabs in a single window. However, palettes are compatible only with certain windows. The Project window can contain tabs for the Effects and Effect Controls palettes; in addition to a tab for source clips, the source view can contain the Effect Controls palette and the audio mixer. The program view of the Monitor window and the Timeline window can both contain a tab for each sequence in the project.
