Adding, Deleting, and Renaming Tracks

As you learned in Chapter 2, “Starting a Project,” the Default Sequence settings determine the initial number of tracks in a sequence. For many projects, you'll need only a modest number of tracks: video tracks for the main content and for superimposed images; audio tracks for dialogue, soundtrack, and sound effects. However, Premiere Pro permits you to have as many as 99 video and 99 audio tracks in the timeline. What's more, you can name all those tracks, so you can easily distinguish the sound-effects track from the music and dialogue tracks, for example.
